Angus-Legacy-SocietyWe got started in the cattle business a little late, as we are both Veterans of the United States Army with a combined service of over 30 years.

Joe is a retired Armor and Cavalry Senior Non-Commissioned Officer who honorably served this Nation for over 20 years at home and abroad. Joe is a member of the VFW, DAV and also a member of Gatesville Masonic Lodge 197 A.F. & A.M. and Waco Scottish Rite. A graduate of Columbia College and prior to military service, worked on farms in Southeast Mississippi. Joe is also a graduate of the Oklahoma Horseshoeing School in Purcell, OK and currently serves on the Texas Angus Association Board of Directors.

AngusSusanne honorably served over 10 years as a Military Police Officer in numerous challenging assignments and was the first female to serve on the Fort Hood Special Reaction Team (the military equivalent of SWAT). Susanne is a member of the DAV and a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Killeen 490. Susanne is a graduate of Grantham University and worked on numerous small farms in Germany during her pre-teen and teenage years. Susanne is a certified Artificial Insemination technician and received her training and certification through Bovine Elite in College Station, Texas
